Sundays at Bridge
City Church
Two Identical Worship Gatherings
We have two identical worship gatherings every Sunday morning at 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM. Each gathering lasts around 75 minutes and includes Scripture reading, prayer, singing, a sermon, and communion. Between the services, we create space for equipping classes, fellowship, and morning prayer. We also offer BCC Kids programming for children from birth through 4th grade during each gathering.
Morning Prayer
We invite you to join us for Morning Prayer every Sunday at 10:20 AM in the sanctuary—right after the 9:00 AM service. It’s a short and meaningful time to pause, pray together, and prepare our hearts for the day. Everyone is welcome.
Parking at BCC
There are two small lots connected to the church, street parking on Trowbridge and Storer, and shared parking directly across the street at Bethel Baptist Church. Our Parking Team is ready to help you find a spot and get to worship.
What is Liturgy?
At Bridge City, our worship follows a liturgy—a structured order of worship that helps us remember and rehearse the gospel each week. Through calls to worship, confession, assurance, prayer, song, Scripture, and communion, we engage both our minds and hearts.
We also follow the Church Calendar—Advent, Lent, Easter, Pentecost, and beyond—as a way of walking with the global and historic Church in the life of Christ. Our corporate prayers and rhythms are not just tradition—they’re spiritual formation, anchoring us in God’s Word and drawing us into the story of redemption.
We sing gospel-centered, lively, and singable songs that help us remember and respond to the story of Jesus. Our music includes both contemporary and gospel styles, uniting our voices in praise. Interested in volunteering?
Music & Singing
Written Prayers
We pray together in worship to confess, praise, and ask for God’s help as one body. These shared prayers shape our hearts and teach us to depend on God’s mercy and grace.
The Sacraments of Baptism &
The Lord’s Supper
We celebrate baptism as a sign of God’s covenant grace and entrance into the family of faith. We share the Lord’s Supper weekly to remember Christ’s sacrifice and proclaim His death until He comes again.
The Bible & Sermons
Each week, we open the Bible and proclaim the gospel through verse-by-verse, expository preaching. We believe God speaks through His Word and transforms us by it.
Bridge City Kids
We offer a safe, fun, and gospel-centered environment for children from 6 months through 4th grade during both Sunday gatherings. Our trusted and background-checked volunteers are committed to helping kids grow in their faith, build friendships, and know they are loved by God. Children in K–4th grade participate in the full worship gathering and are dismissed before the sermon for a time of age-appropriate teaching and engagement.
